Alpha 8045/shuttle Ak31 Rev3.1

I am aware of this problem with the cap using the Shuttle AK31 with a ALPHA 8045 heatsink. Some say they can just push the cap to the side, but my board this is not possible as the cap is firmly down against the mobo. I do not have a problem using a drum sander on a drill press and removing a small area on the heatsink so the sink will clear the cap.

Does anyone have this setup and can provide a close-up photo of their MOBO/HEATSINK?
