:confused: What's the CPU? What's the default voltage that you get by having the MoBo detect the CPU? Whats the MoBo? What are your ambient temps? How much ram do you have & what kind is it? I got more questions for you but Everyone else will be able to help you better if we new what your system is. You can create a sig in user cp.

Supposedly 95°C(failure point) but nobody really wants to run over 55°C;
Up the voltage when you O/C, that is why your here:D, more MHz = more juice;
Change the multiplier when you have found the best performing FSB. Multiplier X FSB = Clockspeed

Try looking in BEGGINERS GUIDE (http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/index04.asp#BEGINNER GUIDES) to get you started.

OK, I found your thread again. Can you answer my questions from my first reply so I can better understand your system? I don't have enough info to work with.

It's not showing up at this thread so I got it from your PM. Have you made sure that the HSF is seated properly on the CPU? What thermal compound are you using? What are your ambient temps? Try setting the CPU to default until we figure outwhat is causing the high temps. What are you using to monitor your temps?

I know its a bunch of questions but all this you should be checking anyways. Reply to this thread & let's take it a step at a time. Be warned I am a newbie:eek:
