7600GT or X850XT?

I'm getting a new card, and I'm stuck on this one. Which one would you choose?

7600GT easy.

I'd avoid both. Go with x1800GTO.

7600GT doesn't have an external power connector resulting in major problems when pushed even a little bit. I experienced problems at stock clock speeds and had to downclock.

X850 doesn't have the new tech to make games look pretty.

I'm not talking about lag, I'm talking about full system freeze for 15 seconds or so.

I ended up going with the 7600GT, and whadda you know, I can't play any new games without freezing every 5 secs. too bad I did'nt see posts after the first 1

Ouch,

Are you going to return it or you are going to see if there is a fix around? Is,'t there a way to add to more voltage to the PCI-E slot?

shouldnt' increase voltage through a pci-e slot.

Look at his sig. He volt modded it and now is running 700/1700.
