ive had this problem for a while, if i put in pqi or corsair DDR2 in any of my asus boards the p5wd2-e and p5wd2-p it wont post, if i put it into my gigabyte board it works fine, ive swaped out EVERYTHING but the cpu in both even RMAed 1 p5wd2-p and they still wont post, if i put in some crap PNY DDR2 pc4200 it boots just fine and even lets me install either the corsair or pqi and works just fine with them, but by themselves it wont post or do beep codes... the only part that hasnt changed is the CPU...but with that same cpu in the gigabyte board the ga-g1975x it works with the same cpu and any of the ram.. not sure what i should do next...

Check the operating voltage requirement on the ram. Make sure the asus board is set to that voltage and not on auto.
