X-Fi Question

Hello, iv had my X-Fi for quite a while now, but only now did i notice, that there was a Heatsink on the Processor

When i looked up reviews, other X-Fis had a sticker on theirs, and their processors were left bare

Does anyone else's X-Fi hav a heatsink on it?

yepp i have the fatality fps version and mine also came with the heatsink. i believe this is because are now manufacturing these cards in a different way which is making them produce more hear than the earlier versions.

i have extreme music and it has a heatsink. this is good becuase i didnt even have to do it myself like i did with my old audigy 1.

besides dont they know, if you overclock your soundcard it sounds better :p
