Here is how its supposed to work. IE should save the last configuration, so whatever you had the window at should be what its at when you open it again. Thats how its SUPPOSED to work.

Try this. Open IE. Go to reduced screen size. Close IE by doing CTRL-ALT and close all at once. When I say Close I mean to hit the red X in the upper right hand corner.

This should work from a given shortcut.

I've been having the same problem for a long time now. Sometimes it works right other times it does'nt.

I'm having somewhat opposite problem... It doesn't want to start fullscreen :(

If I use the F11-mode, sure, it stays in it... But oh no, it doesn't want to stay in normal fullscreen mode if some program opens a new window (non-maximized) and I close the window after maximizing ut. Next time I fire it up, it's back to the non-maximized mode... :(

if you want it to always start fullscreen get rid of the original IE icon on your desktop

then create a shortcut to it...and once u do that go to properties:Run:maximized

u can also run it minimized, or in "normal window"

hope this fixes your problem....
