Scsi drive

I was new to scsi hard drive when I installed one a few months ago. I tried using a regular ide hard drive with it and it wont work. Is there any way to use both?

They should both just work fine. Could you post more about your setup? What is the problem that you are having, exactly?

I want a faster drive then the 10k scsi i have now can someone recommend on that is less than $150 space doesnt matter only speed
