ATI RADEON 8500 question "Drivers"

Ok i win98se and direct x 8.1 official final installed "it just came out"

when i purchase a radeon 8500 will games look the same as if windows xp home was installed when running win98se

Directx 8.1 is installed in WinXP. If anything it should look better because 8.1 has features specifically written because of the 8500.

Edit: Re-read your post...you have 8.1 installed already. So there won't be a difference.
