View Full Version : Radeon 64 DDR vivo SE - my new 3Dmark2001 score

Well I beat my old 3Dmark 2001 score of 4018 with a little tweaking and bumping up my vid card to 234/234.

Scored 4075 with stock card coolingcheck it out, pretty happy curious to compare with others running SE card or those who flashed bios on older 64 DDR cards to 198/198 and have overclocked em

Not to be a jerk but that doesn't seem to be much of an increase over your old score considering that 3dmark2001 can vary as much as 100pts between runs. In any case those are excellent scores. I'm going to try flashing my Radeon to the SE and see what I get. At stock speeds I get a score of 3660.

Hes sorta got a point that.. that it wasn't really worth 60 marks .. And 3dmark can get 100pts differences in every run.

You still haven't caught me yet and you have an advantage! That card runs the 7th test and i can't with my geforce 2 gts so you can gain approx 15% more because of it.

Just busting! Keep on upping your timings and i'll give you hints on to increase your score by tweaking settings if you already don't know.

i hit 4275 on 3d mark 2001 in 32 bit with my gf2 ti running this poor little Duron is that good for this card? I have not Oced it yet .

Does anyone know if i went to say an Athlon cpu and Oced this card would i get a much higher score or would my improvement be minimal? Thanks

Trancer how is your fsb oc'd? Yes that's a good score. I got just above 4200 with my last test(3rd test). Not sure on oc'ing because I haven't tried it yet.

What do you mean by how is my fsb OC'd? Are you asking how i did it ? You just go in your bios and increase it in there like on my board it will go to 250 some boards will not go so high and some don't really give you an option.

I think you would get some improvement but the real improvement would probably come from more true mhz. So if you had a 1.0G Tbird say overclockered @ 1.4 you would probably get a good 450point increase maybe even more.

Which G2 Ti did you get and how much did you pay if I may ask? Your beating my G2 ultra and I'll bet you paid way less then me. I'm getting 4250 with a Tbird @1.2 and 4535 with my Tbird @1.45 and this is with my Leadtek G2 ultra @ default 250/458.

i have this card that has 4.0 ns RAM and VIVO i paid 139 for it .

Thats the one I thought you had the Golden sample thats sweet man. All that for 90 bucks less then I paid of course that was a little while ago. What kind of software bundle came with it any games?

Yep the Leadtek G2 ultra also comes with 4ns ddr. I'm not sure if the ram is clocker higher or if its the Titanium chip desighn but that card performs better for sure. Maybe its the drivers I'm still using 21.81 det.

wow i didn't know that it would be better then a gf 2 ultra i just bought it because i thought it was the best bang for the buck and at my budget it did come with some DVD software and ulead video studio 5.0 and tv out with VIVO so i guess i got a good deal.

oops! lol i said that wrong. What i meant was what is your fsb set at? How far is it oc'd?

How do I print the screen after running 3DMark2001 so I can post it here. And how do I attach a link so others can compare their score to mine. I thought I had done it right but guess I was wrong.

We got a good thread going anyways.

Burning Phoenix let me hear some of the hints to increase my score. Also is it best to run 128mb aperture or 64 in bios?? I am currnetly at 128. I know this card should post a higher score than what I have , I am gonna up settings to 240/240 , 10x multiplier for cpu with 137 buss to see what happens.

when you see your little window with the score press the print screen button on the keyboard and then paste into paint (or any other proggy), then save and upload.....

to link it go to madonion.com then into the project manager. Make sure that the one you want us to see is published. Then click on the link right below where it shows the score and stuff that says compare url:

then you should see that project score compared to whatever your current project score is. Then just copy the url from your address bar and post it here and *tadda* we can compare scores!

If I am correct you are also running a faster processor than me though, I believe a P4 @1.7 right? ( I may be wrong) What is your score and share some of your tweaking secrets with us...

I did some minor tweaking and upped my score some more, I scored 4128, not a big increase over my previous best of 4075 but it is still an increase.

I am sure I can break 4500 once I install my lapped blue orb and get my ramsinks on. IS the agp aperture of 128 the best setting or 64??
