Awsome free windows Vista Complete Skin package

This is a great new free windows vista skin package that does everything, including boot screens and login screens. Was easy to download and install..give it a try.

edit: compared to normal windows xp i am only using 4mb more ram for this... so thats not bad at all

well, i really don't but i just did boot screens and everything with stylexp, finally put a theme 2gether i dont feel like doin it again - but nice find

I tried one of the transform packs. It actually was kind of nice. It had the sidebar and transperancy. It did eat a bit of RAM but for the visuals it gave, it was kind of worth it. I took it out and it was good about that too. So even a nicer perk. Everything seemed pretty good.

The other user of this computer did not like it as I did so that is the reason it is not installed. Otherwise if you like eyecandy it is a good thing.

SPYWARE HEADS UP

After installing, AdAware found 7 spyware references.

Everything still works fine though after removing the Spyware-

There are actually a wide number of Vista skins available for people who want them... I know of nine, the better ones come from CrystalXP as they do the Longhorn look as well as the Vista look. (these skins use the correct vista icons as well)

I really don't get the trasparency thing, even @ 90% its really annoying. Makes it harder to actually work in Windows, yeah it looks neat but thats about it.

like the previous versions of this, its nothing more than a taskbar skin with a few wallpapers...the glass just enables the transparency already in xp, which makes the whole window transparent giving poor contrast between desktops...I don't know why that screenshot shows the border being transparent like vista as it simply isn't there.

I would use this, although I already have Windowblinds with the vista theme, but I NEED the compact start menu, anything less is unacceptable.

Quite so. That's why I use Linux.

(on my secondary computer)

We'll see. I'm looking forward to seeing what Vista offers, but I don't know if I'll bite the bullet and buy it.

Wow. Whoever made this did a really good job. It's very similar to the latest version of Vista, logon screen and all.

EDIT: My copy of Vista, for comparison.
