What features have you always wanted to see in a case to make it more lan party friendly?

Low wieght with great cooling. Front and back fan options. Not just 80MM I want an option of 120MM. Folded edges, and removable tray for easy fixes. Whole case comes apart, so I do not have to drill out rivets to take the top off.

Options for fan placement with differnet models. Possible windows and not limited while modding. Easy to get to parts once installed and everything can be moved around to suite every unique users needs. Possible modular case parts.

What do you guys think of this my friend works at the Columbia Computer Center and he showed it to me and i have to say its a prity impresive case. The one he showed me was a prototype.

Moving a case around will gather dust. Having pets and other variables. The design will make that easy to blow out once a LAN is over though.

I dont care for the open case design. I usually goto Big Lan events like MML and Asylumlan, and Im away from my computer quite often, and I keep the sides locked up to keep the honest people honest.

Although with that case I could win the best mod contests at Asylumlan.

Security. Thumbprint access. Keycard. Keypad. And a breath test to prevent drunken modding.

It all depends on the person and the lan. I presonally like good lighting schemes and eye candy, as well as functionality and performance.

It's really...unique, which is a good thing. I Wouldn't take it to lans for security reasons...but it's a pretty awesome case, if we can call it that.

I like most of the above - minus Mr thumb print - as well as one more.

Home made not crummy looking carrying handle.

I would want carbon fiber panels, and honey comb aluminum laced with carbon fiber for the bracing, makes the case weigh at a whopping 6 pounds. And sturdy as hell. have it utilize as much small stuff as possible, shuttle ITX, laptop drives, laptop DVD burner. But at the same time, have enough depth and lateral room for full size cards, such as the 7900GTX's and such. Options for 120mm cooling, built in LCD with full monitoring capabilites, reobus's, and have it all dead quiet.

Too bad that case would cost alone 1k, but oh well, one can dream cant they? :D

As far as LAN party cases go, the Q-Pack case is pretty cool and you could prolly find something unique to do to it. :D
