i have an intel celeron A running at 401MHz..how do i get into the bios and overclock it..everytine i hit del i go to a set up with no option to change it...i'm new at this...what do i do???
What kind of motherboard do you have?
Usually all you do is don't hit del you would hit del and go into something like "SoftMenu II or III(Abit Boards..)"..
Your computer is branded is it?
And don't forget to monitor your temperatures..

tell us what your mobo is, or if you have a retail comp (Compaq, DELL etc.) because with retail comps ocing is not really a reality....but if you have a third party mobo you may have a chance, welcome to the forums...

When you 'rebuilt' it did you put in a new motherboard?
If you didn't you won't be able to overclock. E-machines don't have the options.
Yes E-Machines are branded computers that dont overclock..
How did you rebuild it...
What did you change that was broken?

Try OCing in windows with CPUFSB, it allows you to overclock even if your mobo doesn't have the options (it worked for me, donno for any1 else)
Well if your going to buy a new motherboard then I would recommend a new chip since.. There are basically no cheap good overclocking boards they're pretty mid range..
And usually for your chip the older Abit boards will sell at a high price near the modern boards since you can't find them in stores for cheaper prices.
