How good is the Micron 2100 DDR 256M.B. I just ordered that plus a motherboard to go with and was wondering how good the brand was.

Micron/Crucial is very good ram you should do well.
All Micron is not created equal, however.
There is generic memory out there with Micron chips. Crucial happens to probably be the highest quality memory you can get with the Micron chipset.
If it's Crucial Micron, it'll be good. If another Micron chipset memory, you'll have to wait and see.

yup, he's right but PURE Micron ram is the best you can get. If the waffer chip is a Micron product and the ram is Micron then you know you got PURE Micron ram :D
for SD, go for PC133 512MB CL2, for DDR go for PC2700 512MB CL2.
People with 512MB dimms are on average getting better o/cing because the higher density ram can take more punishment since its shrinkin down to .15 microns, unlike 256MB which is .18microns. Its like comparing the Compermine 1GHz and a Tut underclocked to 1GHz. The tut is more stable.
