as the title says. ive got a 15.4 wide laptop (z71v) and it gets a little too toasty for comfort when i play some heavy games for hours on end. i cant leave it on the table anymore because its feet are missing and the fans dont get enough air- and i cant leave it on my leg because it burns. its the graphics chip thats too hot.
my FPS quickly deteriorates through the first 5 mins of the game im currently playing, ive decided the gpu is overheating and redrawing scenes.

my friend just picked up a targus chiller for his 17" wide, it looked like it might fit mine but costs $30, even on newegg. id have to be sure it would be perfect before dropping that much on one.

so- does anyone know of a chiller that is well sized to fit a 15.4 laptop that wont break the bank? (wont take much to break it right now ;) )

any gaming i do will be off AC, so if it requires a seperate AC adapter i can deal with that.

if your up to it you could just fabricate your own, i made a laptop cooler for my 15.4 wide acer, it cost nothing, even if you didnt have all the parts lying around it shouldnt cost very much, and the cooling it supplies is amazing, check out post #9 at this thread:
