x1900 Crossfire card question

so its to my understanding that x1900 crossfire edition card is the "master" card and that it can be run by itself, but u can also add a 1900xtx later if u want better performance?

Most people buy in reverse order. Get the standard XT or XTX card first and then add the crossfire Master card later as that card costs more.

yep, both ways work out


the XTX *probably* clocks (OC's) better, so if your thinking you might stick with a single card for a while id suggest that.

The crossfire setup will run as fast as the slowest card.

If you're going to overclock either card you have to do them both.
