ok I just upgraded my board and vid-card to find it needs ATX 2.0....argh why didn't I check that :bang head
So Im running a s754 3000+ Newcastle, DFI Nf4x, 7600 GT KO, 1 SATA HDD 7200rpm, 1 IDE HDD 7200rpm, 1 DVD-RW, 5 case fans, dual UV cold cathode.
What's a PSU I should be running with this? I was hoping to stay around $50....anyone ever use Demon brand? they seem to have good prices at SVC. My old PSU is a Enermax 420w and it seemed to do just fine with the old AGP setup with a 6800.

Could you just use a 20/24 pin adapter and a Molex to Pci-e adapter and stick with your enermax? If you do need a new PSU this one might fill the bill all though I would get some more input from folks with more insight on this stuff than I have.

Converter?...do they make such a thing?...PCIe power?...this card doesn't take an external powers source gets it all from the mobo so I don't think I need a PCIe power plug.

That Epower is ok quality, i run one of my dual Xeon rigs on one.
I dont have any personal experience with either of the others/brands.

I was kind of leaning towards the Xclio since it's SLI ready and has dual 12+ rails. And according to Oklahoma Wolf it ranked same class above average with the other brands.

Channel Well does make decent PSU's so i dont think you can really go wrong with that. Plus you dont have a heavy load system a 3000+ newcastle and 7600 are not going to tax that thing too much, that will give you some headroom if you decide to upgrade.

I'd go with the XClio, as already mentioned. CWT made, solid unit.

yup thats what I went with $60 out the door, 2-day shipped want it to get here before the holiday and mail shuts down for two days. Too bad Zipzoom didn't have any good PSU listings the egg slams you for shipping in comparison.
