View Full Version : DO you have a 200fsb chip running at 266 or higher?
Hi I'm wondering how many people are running either their 200fsb durons or athlons at or above 266fsb? Please post what hardware you have and the settings please.
Thanks

Yes, I had my Duron 800 doing that. I unlocked it and made it do 6x133, did so finely. Best it wound up doing was a paltry 933 (7x133) so thats officially a Dud Duron by your standards.
Upping the Vcore didnt help at all......
154 x 6.5 or 134 x 7.5, both are stable in prime 95
Duron 700 @ 6.5x150 unlocked, gonna try 155...

I get the same problem with my TBird "C" 1 GHz chip.... I've found 1360 (136x10) is about the highest I can go w/o spontanoues reboots. What OS and PSU do you have? I thought it was PSU related for a while (until I bought a 400W unit) but I'm running Windows XP and I think it's XP related. It always tells me that my Geforce 2 MX driver is causing the lockups - which makes sense, because when it locks, if I am playing an MP3 the MP3 keeps playing (indicating system is still running fine other than the video display) until I hard reboot the system. Maybe we can get this figured out.....

Yup, When I 1st put this system together [see sig below] I was using a Duron 600 [unlocked] it ran @ 6x133 default and would go 6.5x133=866mhz. I HAD it on an A7V and the cpu ran fine at 103x9.5=978mhz:cool: The only things that changed really are the mobo,[to an Iwill] PS unit [reason for change] and CPU.
