My coolbits isn't working since I loaded the new drivers. Can anyone please help me address this problem?

Try re-installing coolbits? I always seem to have to do this when i change drivers...
Alternatively, use RivaTuner or PowerStrip instead.

Yea I tried reinstalling it and every time I click on the .reg file it just opens up in notepad. :P I'm gonna try Rivatuner or Powerstrip. thx for the info.

I installed the new driver and installed coolbits right after it and no problems here, other than trying to find my way around the new control panel.

no

somewhere in regedit in your local machine look for nvidia corp and then go to global, then nvtweak and you'll see coolbits..now dubbleclick and change the value to 3 instead of 2

I can't find any coolbits file in the registry. Attached below is a screenshot of what I am seeing in my reg.

You said when you open the registry file it just opens a notepad?

Try right clicking and hitting merge and see if that solves the problem.

Coolbits sucks imo, use rivatuner instead.

In the NVTweak folder, right-click and "Add a new DWord" value; name this value "Coolbits" - without the quotes. Set it to the values on this page, depending on what you'd like to have available:

I installed these drivers, and for some reason, they wouldn't let me turn on Anti aliasing or antistrophic filtering in any game I tried. I'm guessing they're not for the 7900/7600, etc. I went back to the good ol' 84.56 :)
