View Full Version : Anyone own a Iwaki MD- 30RLT?
If you own or know someone that owns s Iwaki MD-30RLT could you post your experiences with it.
For example
-heat dump
-max head is it too much for w/c a computers gpu/cpu?
-etc
Thanks!

Not a great choice, too much heat dump. The MD-20RZT would be a much better choice, and that is borderline overkill. It is not too much pressure, IIRC the max head on the 30RLT is bout 17 feet and will likely dump 50W into your loop. The D5 has more pressure and way less heat dump. The DDC+ has a 4.7M head and only 18W of which only bout 10 or 11 W will get dumped to the loop.

If you want to go that route forget MD's, iwaki RD-30 is the pump for you.

id say it would be overkill unless you had say chip[set, dual GPU, highly restrictuive CPU block, and say a HDD block or something.
Cathar explained that heat dump with pumps doesnt mean as much when theres more than 1 component being cooled, but when theres more than one = twocomponent heat dump matters less and less because the percentage of heat that the pump is putting in the loop gets smaller every time you add a component to eb cooled.
you onkly appear to ahve a storm and a maze 4 ( going from your sig) is that kind of pump really needed?
unless ive got the wrong end of the stick and your just asking lol
Rick
just asking
thats all o.O
