How long do guys think those CPUs last? If they actually use it everyday then it's something I would look into but probably just look.

Whooooo. I have never overclocked anything except an 486DX4, but... whooa!

But I don't think this will be too useful for everyday use. After all what I've been told, processors under stress like that will soon suffer from some sort of "aortic insufficiency".

i got an a7m266 too.
i cant get the FSB above 150 stable. you would need lots of power for the memory and the agp and pci would screw up wouldn't it? did he mod the voltages. the max you can do on that board is 2.9v for the memory and 1.85v for the CPU

I have an A7m266, too.

What this guy did was obviously installed a Vcore & multiplier mod. As you can see, he is at 11.5, and we all know that the A7M is fixed at 10.5!

This guys board is tweaked to the max, with very good cooling. Only 64MB of slow 2.5 RAM...lol. Probably the only thing he could get to work.

Geez! Away from oc.com for not even a week and a half and someone found a way to get a 800mhz+ OC!!

This is the guy that cools the core with liquid nit then fires up the machine for 2 mins and then shuts it off. No way that processor would last very long at that speed.

That is really cool :Cool: I wonder what temps he had on that speed? LOL!
That's a cool overclock. I just can't believe that he got up to 189 MHZ FSB!!!!!

as can you with n2 cooling, heck wild_andu_c and his board /palamino hit 192 fsb with some pc2400 mushkin i think
