Seti Priority Question

Here's the thing: I have been growing my SETI "Farm" and have a few rigs that do nothing but eat electricity and crunch: priority in SETI Driver is set to NORMAL. Would changing this to HIGH show performance gains or adversely affect stability?

If the comp doesn't do anything(no background apps, no auto virus scan), it wouldn't effect anything if you change the priority. low, normal , high it doesn't matter

Right.

The only thing priority does is set its precedence over other programs when it's running. If you were to open Explorer with SETI at High priority, Explorer will get the a$$ end of whatever processing resources are left.
