lcd ibm 760ed help

Well I got this lappy running so I could plays some old games. This is my problem. When ever I play a game under the res of 1024x768 it gets smaller. This also does this when I change the res under 1024x768 in windows too. Is there any way to get these games to play in full screen? This is a IBM thinkpad 760ed.

ex. Is playing the original C&C it will only be in the middle and very small.

Edit- Oh yeah it has windows 98 installed.

I figured it out. These old lcd have fixed resolutions. So I found a ibm utility for this laptop to strech the screen.
