Which Audigy does what?

I know the difference between the Platinum and the Platinum EX, but I'm unclear on the differences between the:

1- Audigy
2- Audigy MP3+
3- Audigy Gamer
4- Audigy X-gamer

To me, they all seem to use the same chipset, so what's the difference besides extra software? Aren't they all 24-bit ? Or am I missing something? Can't I just download the extra software for free?

I know with the SB Live! Value vs. SB Live! Gamer, the only difference is that you get extra software that Creative Labs charges you for, but you can actually download it for free! So why buy the more expensive card, unless you're an idiot...right?

Also, are there any bugs with the Audigy cards using an Epox 8KHA+ ???

They basically do all the same thing just some with different features.. Like you won't notice much of a difference from X Gamer.. and Mp3+ so on.
