Wow. I just installed Mandrake 8.1!!! Crazy, now i've got a triple boot! mu-ha-ha-ha!!! Well, the internet is going slow - but mabye its just netscape. Although im completely lost here, but its cool all the same. I'm using Gnome, and it is cool:cool:. I'd just like to say to all those that are considering installing Linux for the first time, that Mandrake was SOOOOOOO easy to install, took no time, and luckily, everything but Scard is working on the first go. Wow... the excitment still hasnt worn off :D Next step... Half-Life! :)
BTW- How to you make a shortcut to an app on the desktop?

dont know about the newest version of redhat. but mandrake 8.0 is a crap load ezier to install than redhat 7.0.
feels good dont it?? i had a triple boot for awhile too, but after awhile, the excitement wears off and you wonder why the hell you need 3 OS's on a computer.
you otta try somtin like BEOS, mandrake, and windows. ive never tried that.

Word... I just installed Mandrake 8.1 and Now i'm duel booting with Win2k and linux... i'm not too familiar with it but it is still cool none the less....
right click and slect new App, I think. Fill in the details.
