Radiator where?

I'm not sure where to install my radiator in my homemade water cooling rig, I think is best to install it just before the block, then the water is at it's coldest, please correct me if I'm wrong.

pump -> rad -> block -> [res] -> pump
is the best order (omit res if you don't have one)

That's just as I will make it, I just had some doubts after reading in this forum.

i think it depends on the pump, if your pump produces lots of heat then put it after the pump, also after the res becuase it may warm up if it is stationary for too long

Well isn't that just what ButcherUK said, that's the way I understood it :)

This is the way I am going to assemble my system, correct me if I'm wrong.

Water-res with pump inside, then my radiator, then the block, and then the water returns to the res, I really can't se it made better in any other way.
