View Full Version : I need a video capture app for a TV tuner
The Tv tuner came with Cyberlink PowerDVR, but powerDVR II fails to load once windows xp is fully patched, and even after PowerDVR II is patched it still fails to load. So now I need a new application that is able to record video from the TV tuner, and I would like it before the World Cup begins tomorrow.
I got a email saying someone posted here, but when I get here their is no post, what's up with that. Anyway just a couple more hours anyone have recommendations.

Theres a program called WinDVR which you need to pay for around $70 I think although they may do a months free trial.
Winfast/leadtek do a capture program as well, although im not sure if you can use if on cards they didnt manufacture. http://www.leadtek.com.tw/eng/tv_tuner/default.asp?lineid=6 Check that link, choose a card and download the winfastPVR program i think its called, depending on your card, choose analog / digital.
Not sure how much help that is, but you need something pretty quick.
Hope its not too late, chec out GB-PVR. It's a freeware program that I use for my HTPC. Works great and should do everything you need.
