what is the highest i can safely o/c a p2 450?

Each user as its own.. What motherboard do you have?

Is it branded? ie Dell, Compaq, HP..

Check your bios for a User Define option and the motherboard for jumpers.. Most likely you'll hit 500 or more.

I had one of those, I got it to POST at 558, but couldn't get it past 518 with any stability.
