Hey I just bought a laptop that has a 7900 GTX in it and I was wondering if it's the same type that you could use in a desktop computer. Could I take it out and put it in my desktop, or is it a different slot or something?
I think most of them are intergrated chips ono the motherboard
It most likely is a mini-pcix. They are removable, and non compatible with standard pc.

A designation that means it is a "mobile" version of the Geforce 7900 series, designed exclusively for laptops and not compatible with desktop computers.
