hi,
i just ordered about 500$ worth of stuff (pcparts/cellphone,accesories,etc)
and i ordered sat. night, and money (today) they sent me a confirm email at 9AM there time? or something.
Anyway, i just check now and im im Canada,BC ordered from tigerdirect.ca
and its still on address review? and nothing has been done.
Also people say it takes 3-5Days to get there items... so how long does most stuff usually take?
btw all my stuff said "In Stock" but on sunday night it changed from that to " 7-21 Shipping days" or something, then 1hr later it changed back to instock and is still instock for all items.

Anyway, help is thankful.
And if it doesnt change by tomorrow tuesday. Ill phone them.
but has anyone else had reviews or ordered at tigerdirect.com or .ca
and what/the how long the address review, shipping and stuff was.

I have a friend who orders from tigerdirect he said hes never had any problems with them in the past.

Ive never ordered from them personaly.

This is my observation and may not be the same opinion as others.

Tigerdirect has bad ethics and I try to buy elsewhere. Many people here use them and they offer decent prices and mediocre support. But I have insight and have seen the belly of the Tigerdirect beast, and I didn't like what I saw.

SeanB66, Give them a call like you mentioned and you probably won't have a problem, it's probably something minor, but I know how you feel, when you really need something, It's always nice to have it 'yesterday'. I hope the items come to you soon, it's a shame Newegg still doesn't ship to Canada, as the difference between Newegg and an outfit like Tigerdirect is like night and day. In service and especially customer support.

Yeah, But is there customer support on at like 7PM?
cuz im in canada, and there 3hours ahead... and i can only call them around 4PM my time.
I sure hope it wasnt my fault, as i did put the postal code all together :|
but im sure they could realize that themselves?
Anyway...thanks, i hope you guys continue posting if you have any comments as its great. and yes i thought tigerdirect was like the best or like as good as newegg...my bad?

People here are extremely nice.... even in weird questions like some people have.
Anyway...
I ordered a bunch of times from tigerdirect, and I would get the stuff in a week or so. Of course, I usually ordered with the cheapest shipping possible. So far nothing was damaged, and I didn't have to RMA anything. Maybe I just got lucky though.

ok, well i just phoned them (10AM there time?)
and i got transferred to creditcard authorization, told them my number, they said hold while they verify, then i think i was holding for account manager and she said its now processed. So... 10Minutes it took. so far ok i guess.



i just hope they stick to what they say now.

is that good? and whats next.

Prob just means they are getting the products together and packaged? I'd give it a day or two to see what happens. I've ordered there once (i had no issues but after hearing other peoples i changed over to ncix.com) Its our newegg of canada.

Ok,
ill give them the rest of today (2hrs?) and tomorrow..
But if its still not changed from In Progress to something else ill phone again, i really dont want to phone them to do each step.
anyway its still the same status right now.
and its only 3 items...

btw- does anyone know if UPS shill ships and works during the weekends? or saturday and sunday? thanks.

They won't deliver on Saturdays unless the person or the shipper paid for Sat delivery, and it's more money. By Default, UPS and Fedex do not deliver on Sat. Sun or Holidays. If you pay extra, UPS and Fedex will deliver on Sat.

Trust me, Tigerdirect is not going to arrange a Sat. delivery unless they are paid to do so. If you didn't pay, you won't get it on Saturday, that's a fact.

Good news! i just check status and it says
"Shipped - These items have shipped. Please check your email for tracking information"
woot, going to check messages right now.
btw- its 3:05PM PST...meaning they must of shipped it right at 5o clock there time before it ended.

just checked email at 3:08, no new messages.. :/ im at a library so i cant check my account messages @ tigerdirect.ca
but we will see.

Thanks, or do the shipping/track info comes later??

Ok, well i cant even see the Messages on my account @ tigerdirect at home now because of that https only thing? (i tried firefox and ie) oh i just checked.
anyway it says its shipped, also they have my phone i ordered for 355$, that is now in purple and red, for 500$!!! whoa...must of got in shipment.
and in my order tracking on tigerdirect it shows me the usp logo, id,etc,date shipped, but when i use the tracking id or link, it says UPS cant find it or whatever. and TigerDirect hasnt emailed me the tracking link anyway yet, why you think? maybe the workers just left work when they were about too?

It takes a bit for the tracking website to update. Sometimes as much as 5 hours.

I've never specifically paid for Saturday delivery on anything and yet have had things delivered on Saturday. That might have been FedEx or USPS though.

oh btw...i just noticed this.
this is on tigerdirect.ca website.
my cellphones ID was: M151-2022 NE

now i go to check, and now the id of it is: M151-2022
and now they have the purple M151-2051 or something, and the maroon M151-2048? both for 200$ more! (yes 500$)

anyway
anyone know what the NE stands or means?
