I had to reformat my hard drive about two weeks ago and reinstall Windows. Today I just found out my PNY GeForce 2 MX400 64m.b. is having problems and they again have to reformat and reinstall Windows. Why is this, this so way blows.

What was the problem? Did you change anything before you formated? Overclocked?

I had some problems with Windows so I reformatted and reinstalled. Now I'm having trouble with my video card. it`s stuck in 16bit color and it won't go any higher. So I'll be sending it to the shop tomorrow and I hope and pray they can fix it without having to reformat again.

What drivers are you using?

right now just the ones that came with it. I've only owned two GeForce card up til now I only used ATI. So I don't know how to uninstall the old drivers to update the new ones.

download nvmax, itll destroy the drivers for you, and also get the new 22.80 drivers, they are amazingly fast...

Yep, go to www.nvidia.com and download the latest Detonator 4 drivers. You dont have to uninstall anything, just run the installer, restart, and you're set.
