help uninstall anti-virus

i installed kaspersky anti-virus and now i can't uninstall it. First it will not close because it says it is locked by system so i can uninstall it in normal. If i boot it up in safe mode and it is not loaded then i still can't uninstall it because it says you are getting this message because youa re in safe mode. any ideas on how to uninstalled. Need fast reply plzz

What exactly is locked by system?
Usually only services run under the "system" account. Maybe stop all kaspersky services (services.msc) and then try to uninstall.

The anti-virus si locked by the system. It will not close, nomatter, even if an error comes up, it will still wont close.


And don't you mean services.exe?? ALso there is no danger in this?

Download http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html and that should let you kill all the Kaspersky stuff and then uninstall it.

I fixed it myself, i booted in safe mode and deleted all files it allowed me to in program files. Then restarted and kaspersky didnt open/load at startup so i could uninstall it normally. :)
