Hi.
I just want to say hello to everyone.
I was recently recommended towards this forum from a OC forum member I ran across on "Ebay" of all places.
Ive been a longtime member of another pc forum, but we dont have much in the way of Phase change going on.
So...After scouring your forum I'm quite impressed, and I look forward to sharing in the knowlege available here.
Hopefully I'll be able to provide a little in return !
With that said ,heres a couple of pics from my latest project.
It's a full system liquid chiller (Cpu,Gpu's and chipset)I'm buiding as a test bed.
I'm currently reworking the heat exchanger,Tev /pump assembly to fix a small leak and make it all more accessable.

I bought a temprite oil seperator used, but its clogged.
Which is a shame cause I really wanted to install one now, to at least increase the efficiancy a bit.
Ive got everything I need to make one if I have the time.
But I dont think the temps I'll see with R22 will cause miscability problems and require it .
Also no expansion tank,There should be no need for one at these pressures.
I have a high and low cutout installed ,plus a short cycle timer to be safe.
I'm not looking for extreme low temps, more like -30f loaded.(a little optimistic)
Just trying to build a single stage chiller I can run 24/7 that wont wont use too much electricity.(I have 7 folding machines running also :)

Only unnecessary in this application.
I know technically I shouldnt need a suction accumulator.
But i'm worried about charge migration into the HX and liquid slugging on startup.
I'm thinking ahead too...this wont be a single stage liquid chiller forever.
But Please ,seriously, tell me what you think i'm doing wrong
I'm open to any criticism positive or negative.
Thats why I'm here.
P.S. NoL,I didnt bid against you on those compressors today though did I ? :)
Nope, but I'm bidding on the 1/5hp $19.99 tecumseh compressor :)
