Hey Guys,

I am in the market for a 2gb DC kit and can buy these two kits for about the same price used. The choice is between the OCZ Gold GX with UCCC chips that do around 265 fsb on a 1:1 and OCZ Titanium that have the great 2-3-2-5 timings. It is unclear how the Titanium overclock, but I would not expect too much. I am going to pair these sticks with a DFI Ultra-D and Opteron 165 that will run 333x9. Here are the sticks on the egg.

So which would be a better performer, the high fsb low divider UCCC chips or the Titanium with low timings and high divider?

since you're going to be running on a divider regardless of which kit you buy, i'd probably vote for the titanium since they have tighter timings. still, the difference is only likely to be noticeable when benchmarking. some uccc modules will go closer to 290-300mhz, so it sounds like someone might be trying to sell you the runt of the litter.
