I bought Diablo 2 and I want to make an image to my desktop with an ISO writer. (No Im not selling or giving away a game). I just want to burn the image to my desktop. The problem is theres a serurity thing saying please insert the disc in the drive. I already bought WinISO and couldnt get passed the protected disc. Is there a way I can burn the game to my desktop and play it without the Disc.

So let me get this straight. You have the discs imaged to your HDD and you want to play the game without putting in your "Original Discs" ?
If you have them imaged (ISO'd, etc..) already use DAEMON Tools to mount the images. Then you will be able to play.
If you do not have them imaged. Try using Alcohol 120% to image the discs. Then you can use Alcohol 120% Virtual Drive to mount them.

Not that we can discuss here (we've got a strong policy against bypassing copy protection schemes)...

Correct me if I am wrong, but is creating an .iso even going to help what you are trying to acheive? An .iso is for creating an image of a CD, but windows in itself has no clue what do do with it.
I just uninstalled isobuster just to find out if I am correct. My Vista.iso is now non-operational.
I realize this thread is illegal, and I am not trying to add to it in an illegal way, but if an .iso does work, can someone explain to me how? I just like learning about the inner workings of Windows XP. Also, not trying to thread steal, but trying to explain all of this in a new thread to ask this question would be impossible.

The .iso is just an image of a CD... If you use a program like Alcohol 120% a virtual CD drive will be created. You can then mount the cd image to it, and make windows believe you have actually inserted the CD. Windows itself does nothing with the .iso file.
