OK this is what happens in my PC (only)
1st, I install Samsung mouse on my Win98 (Slow... really slow)
2nd, Format and install Win98 SE (1 click = 2 clicks (not double click) I am not that stupid so I know how to set the mouse in Windows but the same thing happens.
3rd, Install XP same thing happens
4th, Change my motherboard to Shuttle AK31 (From Abit KT7A). Same thing happens.
5th, try it with another mouse same thing happens
6th, try samsung mouse in school 1 click = 1 click n 2 click = 2click
Can someone explain this to me....???

Hmmm. Very strange. Have you tried a different mouse? Try a Logitech Dual optical...very nice.

It's the aliens. No - wait - the Illuminati.
Sounds really weird. Maybe it's really the mouse, and the computer at school accidently didn't understand what your mouse means when it does two clicks.

there is an option that enable your window to act like a browser which means at browser u can open something by single click only. Probarly you had enable that setting. I can't remember where to change the setting. Just browse around the window with the help files. Probarly you will find it. Good luck :)

Is the the matter of browser / setting in Windows / mouse!!
OK! again
I try 2 mice on 2 OS
both make my single click react as double!
What kind of hardware (other than Mouse) have gone wrong??

Right click on a blank area of your desktop. Choose Active Desktop and uncheck everything in that. That's in Win98, hope yours is basically the same. :)
Don't know what else it could be:beer:
Godspeed!:D
Weird.. Got the lastest mouse drivers?
In Windows 98 I had some problems where after a long time with no reboot when I click with the left button it would think I click with the right button.

First I am not that stupid...
OK.. not the driver! Since All Win uses mousedrv.dll(forgot the name)
And Sadly... no one is clever enough to solve my problems...!

I would suggest to get the mouse driver.
you are using windows mouse driver right now. and It might not have the driver for your mouse and just pick up the next closetest one. If you don't try you'll never know.

Have you tried a different video card? or different Video card Drivers.
They might be effecting the mouse :p
Only ideas :D
We will find the problem . . . .. . . . . . ... i hope
Hmm tempt it with some rat poison and cheese.
Sounds like a defective mouse. Buy a new one.

As there is no obvious solution, it may be funny to study the problem: what happens if you turn the mouse to left-handed mode (switch mouse buttons?) Still 2-click when you use the right button? Or double right-click when you press the left button? *anxious for symptoms*
Switch to Windows 2000..
Damn Win9x and its mouse problems :p
