I was looking at the stats board and noticing all the team members that had 0 wu's for the past week and wondered if they just give up? I saw one that I rememered seeing posts from before. He had 25 pts or more but nothing for the past week. So I sent him a pm asking if he realized it or if something had gone wrong with his F@H client and he hadn't noticed. I know I missed quite a few with my console not getting an ID. Would you consider this being rude if not worse behavior? TIA
I don't think putting it the way you did is going too far.
I think it would be going to far if you told him he had to start folding again and lay on a guilt trip or something. Even though some people do need a little nudging, it is hard to know where to draw the line sometimes.

I agree with Lews. I PM'd someone who looked like they tried to sign up with our team but did not put in the team number. They had just entered 'xxxx (www.overclockers.com)' which was the old way you designated your team.
So, I just sent him a message telling him he may have made a mistake and that's it.
Presenting it as being helpful vs. being pushy is the key.
Now I wouldn't recommend PM'ing every person with zero output (well, maybe I would...;) ), but for people who were outputting at a decent rate and then dropped to zero, it could just be a problem with FAH that the person does not know about (they are releasing new cores / clients often to fix bugs). Also, the person may have stopped Folding because of bugs in the software and a PM might be a way to let them know that it is perfect now  !!
Just use good judgement and get all your friends / neighbors / pets folding !!!

Yeah, sometimes little things like WINDOWS PROBLEMS can take a box out for a while. One of mine was not folding for 3 days recently. If that had been the only one I had, ....

He replied and everything is cool. Fold On
On another note. My boss brought in 6 p4 1.5gig machines yesterday and is configuring. Man I wish he had assigned them to me because you know what I would be using to burn them in with;) Oh well there will be others.

I agree with you guys. I was still folding on the old client when robjustice pm'ed me to let me know about the new client. I appreciated it. He didn't pressure me to change, it was just a friendly FYI. I've been so busy with work the last 6 months, I didn't even know about the new client. I'm glad to be on v 2 helping out the OC team
