Just like the title says, I need a new PSU for my old rig. The reason for replacement is my current no-name 300w PSU's rails like to fluctuate heavily. Anyway, I would feel safer to have a good solid PSU in there.

Rig specs:

AMD Duron @ 1600MHz
Gigabyte Motherboard
512mb of no-name memory
ATI 9600XT
80gb Seagate
2 Optical drives
SoundBlaster Live card
An old modem taking up space.
A couple of wimpy 80mm fans

I was thinking maybe 350w should do fine. It would leave a little room to upgrade in the future. Also, I was hoping to get it for about 30 bucks. I know its not much, but that is all I have at the moment.

I saw this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104901) and this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103012) on the egg, and I was wondering what you guys think.

All feedback is greatly appreciated. :)

Those you linked are good PSUs and will last a long time (Sparkle and Fortron are actually the same company, by the way).

If you want, you can even go down lower in wattage with that rig. It doesn't really matter, though, since PSUs are already so cheap at that wattage level.
