Compaq pII266

Is there anyway to oc my expensive compaq presario 4840. There is no fsb, multi. option in the bios, but there is a jumper setting for the cpu, which are 233, 266, 300,333... I tried to put it at 300, but no boot...

is there a way, is there hope? :(

Nope...no overclock for you. Compaq designs their computers like that. I already tried OC my Deskpro...it is a no go. You could try software, but I haven't found one with the board support yet. Sorry.
