Well I have a situation here.
Currently I have 2 isp's here at the house, Cox and CableAmerica.
I use Cox for my internet, set up on a router with 3 ports used but not all at the same time, only and my C.A. for my 4 tvs and one internet connection.

Cox bought up C.A.
So could one line handle all that?
Or keep the 2 incoming lines but use one for internet and the other for video?
Or are there any other options?

Just call them and see. I'm not sure if one cable line will be able to handle 2 modems, since they both should opperate at about the same frequencies.

I know in NY Road Runner offers packages with multiple modems. Now if this is actually multiple modems or just a single modem and a router I wouldn't know.

Anyway, why bother with multiple modems? It would be cheaper to just have one connection, and unless you do a lot of downloading on one connection I doubt you would notice any difference.

you can have more than one modem per household. I have 4 people living in my appt. 2 of us have cable modems from road runner. The entire appartment shares one cable feed and I wouldn't be surprised if the entire building was that way.

It depends on your ISP, jsut call them like the first person said. as I know Charter Communications does not provide that service.
