I did not know where to put this.

I am looking for case opinions
want a decent sized case but I don't think I want a full tower.

I do NOT want a molded 3.5" floppy drive!
I will not use a floppy drive in this machine! I can make bootable CDs and I can even flash the bios with it!. Down with legacy floppy drives !!! :D
I am getting an Enermax EG465P-VE FC power supply because I am getting an AMD system and I intend to do RAID starting with just 2 drives(maybe 4 some day) . DVD-ROM and a Burner.

anyway I am fixed on the PSU.
I was looking at this case:
http://store.yahoo.com/componentauthority/enmidcascsa11.html

and I am open to suggestions, I kind of thought about a wide case because I want to do a 92 mm case fan and duct it to the cpu cooler. I really like the ducting idea. I am not up for water cooling and I am good with plastics to make the duct. My friend just put together an ECS K7S5A and he had PSU problems and a 7K RPM fan. (Louder!!!) so that is where the ducting comes in lower RPM fan at 92 mm should give me the same CFM that he had at 7K and less noise. with the duct I can use an active noice cancel system. hell just a few opamps, mic and a little speaker and I am set.

Long story short, case suggestions: based on width of case, height, and depth. no molded floppy drive. Uhhh and has to be ATX ;) I am thinking of painting it so color is not important.

thank you very much for your time and have a good day.

ps suggestions on 92 mm fans would be appreciated.
If you know of a case that is like 9 to 9.5" wide that would be great.
also, anyone using 120 mm fans in the FRONT? if so what case do you have. and which fan

also, I would pay a little more if it had a slide out mobo tray that allowed the cards to be installed while out of the box.

thank you again.

Agreed - ANTEC is awesome but I don't think they have any that utilize 92mm fans ... their 80mm's work just fine however.

if you want a mid size case look at the SX830 - it is a great case all around I personally use the SX1030 so I can fit more fans in it to air cool better!

This is a well made case that I had for awhile and was pretty happy with it, Althought the pic doesnt show it it has a free side Blowhole that can cool or vent the CPU. It has a slide out mobo tray and they sell them direct to the people as well as sell them to dealers who resell them for more.....hense buy direct from the manufacturer.

ps to bad that Enermax for $24 is sold out thats a sweet price.

The free side blowhole is similiar to this 3 5.25 bay model c'ept the one listed above has (4) external 5.25 bays

do you have the AT900?
I think your pic is the AT820?

when you bought yours were you able to just
get the case and not the crappy 250W PSU?
