Memory cards?

I read in flyers for retail stores like Staples about computers that have memory cards, like a 9-1 memory or media card. What is this? I'm clueless.

Basically it is a device that has several slots in it for several different types of media.

5-1
6-1

basically means you will have a drive like thing that will fit into a laptop usually but also some for desktops in a 3.5" or 5.25" drive bay. 4-1 means it has 4 slots for 4 different media types in 1 drive, 5-1 is 5 different media in 1 drive.

the media they use varies but is usually like SD Cards or other memory sticks for camera's, MP3 Players, etc.
