View Full Version : WTH is wrong with Monarch???
I ordered an ASUS A8N32 SLI Deluxe motherboard and an Opteron 170 on the 21st of June. My Credit Card was charged on the 22nd, today is the 27th and the order status at monarchs web site has not changed. I have now sent two email inquiries, except for the automated reply confirming receipt, no one has contacted me in regards to my emails/order status. So....WHAT THE HECK is wrong with monarch? Do they treat everyone so poorly? I can't imagine they will survive if my expereince is typical. Anyone know someone who works for Monarch that can give me the inside scoop on things...or even quietly inquire about my order? :mad: :bang head

Welcome to Monarch. They may have cheaper prices, but you wont get your merchandise for awhile. Best bet is to call.
I bought a 7800gt and my opty 165 at the same time. The 7800gt shipped the next day and the opty 165 shipped a week later. I called and griped but all I got was, "Warehouse has the order to ship and it should ship soon."
The few dollars you pay more for buying at newegg is worth it if you want your stuff shipped quickly.

Well in the future I will not be using monarch. The practice of taking money and making customers wait ought to be illegal..but alas our laws do not favor fairness in such things. I hate Monarch too. I ordered a DFI lanparty and a gig of OCZ ram almost 2 weeks ago. It hasn't even been shipped yet...

Call and cancel your order then. And make sure they credit your credit card back promptly too. The best way to deal with this kind of situation is to not buy from them, if you don't like their service.
