Its almost done! My room smells like paint fumes and polishing compound and epoxy resin, but its almost done! I just have to add my neon when (if) it arrives (long story). I've included some pix here that I hope will interest you ^_^

what is a car buffer? what part of the car is it - or where is it in the case?

It will give you a nice polish on your paint job. Or a real nasty one if you burn the paint with it!

It was actually a sponge pad on an air-driven buffer. I had to sand it down w/ 1000 wet to get some dust out of it, so I had to buff a shine into it. It went rather well, imho.

and oni, the link for tha addictional pics wont load for me, is it also broken?
do u remember the link you sent me sometime ago into one of your pms (cant remember if it was about the FOP-38) i could never open that one too.

The pix aren't loading because I'm at a LAN party right now, and my IP is different. I'll set it to rights once I get home.

Looks great. the only thing I would do more is to dremel out the hole for the case fan in the back and use a grill allowing a bit more air flow. otherwise nicely done!

I was planning on doing that, actually. I'm asking for a Dremel for Christmas! ^_^

Yeah, I am actually. Its one of my friends' systems, but she can't use it right now, so I'm keeping it safe. Its GREAT for DVD's. ^_^

I'm gunna upgrade to a SB Live! 5.1 and a nice digital tuner w/ some Klipsch speakers ^_^
