Its been driving me nuts and I know I saw an ad for a hard drive with a plexi glass window on it instead of the standard metal cover by western digital I think...?Does any one else know which manufacturer makes this or is my memory playing tricks on me?

yeah the RAPTOR X is the one with the window. Usually thats the only difference that the "x" version from the regular.

It would be wicked cool all considering this is a high speed drive and the head will move uber fast.

I just wish they attached an LED to the end for effects. lol
