I finally got the card and did some benches. The card oc's perrrty good eh?:) At 267/605 it froze in Nature. At 267/603 it froze in DOT3 Bumpmapping. 267/602 got 7789 no artifacts. 275/602 noticed some visual aberrations at the start up screen of 3DMark2001. Lowered to 270/602 and received a score of 7809 with no artifacting or aberrations. The 2d quality is a tad better than my ElsaGeforce2GTS'. The colors appear a bit richer too.(subjective, I know)
This card came with the 21.81 drivers, I'll try the newer one's some other time. I tested in 600X800 16 bit. I'll try default later.
Is this oc average for a Ti/500??

if all that testing was done at 600x480 16 bit then those arent too impressive (sorry), could you please redo them at default an tell us, because everyone else uses default and it makes it much easier to compare, other than that, nice oc.....also at such a low resolution the thing that holds the system back is the CPU, so 1024x76832bit color will help us see the true performance of your graphics card hine through...
Your score is low, maybe the win 98 and the nvidia xp driver bug.
Not sure but look at the main page for more info about the "bug".

I read the article and my aperture size is set at 128meg. It's low for 600X800? That bites:(
Any suggestions other than what the article suggested?
FunnyPerson, I wasn't really trying to impress anybody with the score, just sharing the oc'ing ability of this card.

if you could run the test at default resolutions and tell us what the rest of your system is we could tell you if its good or not, if those scores were at default settings that really would be amazing....

Good Lord! I was comparing my score to others and they have similar scores with the default setting! Uhh, crap. Ok I need to test at default. Hate to be running a "crippled" card:(

I ran in default mode. No video oc either. I got 6952. That seems alright for a 1.2Ghz T bird. I think it's the second highest score with a processor in this range(so far). I can't oc as high in default (1024X768) like in 600X800.
Any games coming out soon that this card will benefit from? Does Wolfenstein have any optimizations for the G3's?

i dont think wolfenstein has any special optimizations for Geforce3, but it will run fast as heck on it.......youll be fragiing people like crazy.....that is if youre good :D
So what's your core/mem at now?
I decided to either wait for the Ti550 Golden Sample, or get the $99 VT Ti200 on sale this Friday + a Radeon 8500. I think these 2 will cost abt the same a Ti550.

6953 is great for default, i mean you only got 1200mhz, on a 1500 or so mhz puter, youd get close to 8000 again, that is good, it didnt even drop 1000 pts going from 800x600 to 1024x960. And you set card back to default
Use teh 22.50 drivers, and set it back to like 260/602, adn youll get a GOOD SCORE

This card doesn't like the 22.50's :( I get a totally unrecognizable image at the beginning of the Nature test. Horizontal, funky colors:beer:
