now i see that i almost have kinked a cable so i want to drain the setup and trim a bit of the tubes so the kink will disappear. how do i do this?
ill show you some photos of the tubes in a second(gonna disconnect them and therefore i have to shutdown my computer)

It really depends on the layout of your loop. If you have a drainport at the bottom of the loop that works, otherwise you can disconnect a tube somewhere at the bottom of the loop. Example: Remove the block from your video card and place it over a bucket. Then remove (or cut off) the tubing.

ok, but if i remove the waterblock i still cannot remove the tubing from my case...so i will have the case very near. but i will give this a try. thank you =)
It's definately a pain in the ass without a drain port. The lowest part in my loop is my radiator. So i just get a big clean bucket and put the rad over it and pull the tube off. Biggest pain is waiting for it all to come out. Like in my loop there's one part that's like impossible to get all the fluid out. That's just how my loop is though.

What I did when I installed my GPU block is you can either pick yourself up a little hand pump from home depot for like 10-15 bucks or you can try an old-fashioned syphon on it. Just need to temporarily seal off the other open plug on the loop in either case. Hand pump is definately the quickest way to do it however, and probably the most thorough, seeing as theres always a chance the suction on a syphon will die out before its all drained.

i cant go to home depot because i live in europe XD....i managed to drain it and cut off the tubes a bit and that problem is fixed, though now in one of the two tubes that brings the water back from the block there is an air bubble that just wont go away, i tried bleeding, i tried adding more fluid. but it wont work...aah well the temps are ok at 38 idle and 40 load

Since my case is so big and heavy and clumsy to tilt all around and hold on its side (original CM Stacker), I blew all of the remaining coolant in my loop out, as in with my mouth on a clean hose. :p Last night when I had to dismount my radiator to put a shroud on both sides, I had to drain the loop so I didn't have much choice. I poured out all of the coolant I could from my res then disconnected the hoses from it and blew in one hose and water came out the other into a drain cup. It worked well enough. I know it's not the safest way, but the tube was clean and the anti freeze in the water is dilluted down to like 10%-20% so I'm not really worried. Hell they used to put the primary ingredient in anti-freeze in wine. Of course they also used to put cocaine in Coca-Cola. :bday: Yes I know there will be water vapor from my breath in the loop which may contain germs, but I don't think they'll be alive too long. ;)

I have found that if you smack the tubes a bit with a small but weighty object like a small aluminum rod or something it knocks the air bubbles off the tube and breaks them up. Also running my pump full blast for a day helps too. After a day they were all gone while I was leak testing.

You may need to tilt your case around to get it to move along the loop. This helps get air out of your rad as well.
