Here is my situation: up until a while ago, everyone in my family used the "family" computer; it had it's own printer connected via parallel port. Then I put together another computer for myself and wanted to use the same printer as the other. My computer is running XP home SP2 and the "family computer" is running ME. I set up the network between the two and my default printer on the networked computer (my own) seems to be the one upstairs. However, when I print a one page document on mine, the printer spits out a blank page. I read a little something about the drivers, which I have tried working w/, but it could still easily be that. Any ideas? Thanks

I have absolutely no experience at all w/ even the simplest networking, so just the fact that I have gotten this far is suprising.

if you have a firewall try turning it off and then printing again, i know the nforce4 network firewall would corrupt all of my downloads so maybe your firewall is messing up the data to be sent to the printer.

(I think I may have read your post wrong)
