No more Vista Beta 2!

Wow! is all I can say. I was planning on installing Vista Beta 2 yesterday night, but then my friends called me and we all went to a movie. Now today I get back and go to the Vista site to find they closed it down. :eek:

I was just sorta excited to be able to see what Vista was like and Aero was all about before anyone else but now I can't.:temper:

Ok I am being childish so now that I am cooled down, does anyone know of a way I can still get Vista???

Microsoft privately released a new build recently. Apparently, the newest build is supposed to be an excellent build. Vista has become much more responsive, installs faster, and much more. As i've said numerous times in Vista performance complaint threads, Microsoft is in the performance tuning stage and it's going to get faster and faster between Beta 2 and release.

As to your question, I believe Microsoft will be coming out with a new Beta sometime within the next couple of weeks. They most likely took Beta 2 off to get ready for the next public beta.

Nearer end of August is more likely for a newer beta.

I have a copy and i can install it on up to 10 computers with my product key, let me know if you want to try it and i'll send you the link and the key. I'm only trying it on a couple computers here anyway.
