I am new to over clocking and I am wondering if this is a good idea. We gave my dads friend who didnt have a computer our old computer from like 96-97 and it had windows 95. I am wanting to get new mobo, processor, HD, fans, ram, etc. and am wondering if it will be worth it. I need some suggestions on what kind of stuff to get. I was looking at the 1000 Tbirds and was wondering if they are any good? And what are some good sites to buy from? So please help me.
Welcome,
There are so many possibility's here, do you have a budget you would like to keep the price under?
You will be starting from scratch correct, no case or any parts?

whats the power supply on your case? at, atx...?
if it is an old case, you will probabily have to get a new one with a current power pack! i personally wasent impressed with the t-bird performance compared with the 1ghz athlon.
