Well I was coming back from a Lan party the other day, and I had my tower in the trunk. I took a sharp turn and heard a thunk.
When I booted up my comp after getting home, I was greeted by the blue screen of death. Great. So I did a Windows repair on the installation. It didnt work, so I bit the bullet and reinstalled Windows from scratch, unplugging the D:\ drive so as not to corrupt any of my data.
WHen it finally got installed, Windows XP was running EXTREMELY slow, to the point where it would lag the comp when I moved the mouse. I took out the Vid card to see if that was the problem and used it on another comp I had. Nothing was wrong with it. I checked the system info, and it read all the RAM.
So now I'm at a loss, asking for your help, because I have NO IDEA whats wrong. Could it be the D:\ drive is conflicting with the new Windows install on the C:\ drive?
PLease help!
